There’s guaranteed to be a time slot that works for you — I tutor full-time and run many classes across weekdays and weekends, providing plenty of flexibility.

“It sounds like your students are all high achievers. I wonder if [child’s name] will be able to keep up in your class, as English has never been their strongest subject?” – a parent who asked me this before enrolling.

If that student went to another tutor, they would likely feel unconfident and underperform. Why? Because some tutors favour students who have a stronger foundation in English previously, ignoring other students who may have had a weaker foundation in English previously but actually have the same potential to do well, and thus significantly disadvantage their studies. E.g., some provide certain materials to only a selected group of students, hold free additional “special” classes just for them, etc (evidence available upon request).

Unlike them, I do NOT discriminate or favour certain students in any form whatsoever. Why? Because every student has the SAME potential to become a high achiever and achieve the result they desire – it all depends on how they are taught by their teacher and tutor.

How can one possibly achieve good results from a tutor who favours certain students and completely takes away the chance for other students to realise their potential?

At the end of the day, shouldn’t every student receive equal support, as you are also paying the fees, just like those “selected group of students”? I think so. If I were a parent, I would be so frustrated if I saw a tutor do that.

__________________________

Unlike them, I offer the SAME quality and level of support, resources, and teaching to ALL my students. I treat all students equally because I believe each one of them deserves the SAME level of attention and support – ensuring they ALL have the chance to do well. My past 500+ students can 100% attest to this.

This is why I consistently have a LARGE group of students who do well every year vs some other tutors who only have a small group of students who do well (coincidentally, they are likely from the “selected group” of students that the tutor favoured).

So how do so many of your students become high achievers? Because I am seriously passionate about helping every student succeed in Eng Lang. I cannot sleep at night if I favour certain students and ignore others. I focus on teaching every student the essence and intuition of Eng Lang from the ground up, regardless of their prior performance in English before enrolling. Combined with the unparalleled & state-of-the-art learning resources + support, and the motivation & diligence I focus on nurturing within every student from Day 1, there is no surprise that SO MANY of my students do well. Additionally, my students know Jason treats every student equally, which means they do NOT have to worry or stress about “will the tutor select me as part of the ‘special group’ of students”, “what if I don’t get selected, does that mean I won’t do well”none of that will happen at Jason Huang VCE English Language Tutoring. I promise you.

You set a goal; I will do everything I can to help you get there. I promise you.

Hmmm, you may be wondering – sounds too good to be true? Well, let the evidence speak for itself!

Almost all of my students who performed well in EL had a WEAK foundation when they first joined the program.

  • Some told me they were averaging C’s, D’s, 50 - 60% in Year 11 (they had not joined my tutoring at that point)

  • Some told me they were on the verge of dropping EL (they have not joined my tutoring at that point)

  • Some said they didn’t even do Unit 1&2 Eng Lang

  • Some showed me their Year 11 essays that scored < 50%; they have not joined my tutoring at that point

But wait, see how I helped to transform their studies and achieve AMAZING results below !

From a student who struggled in Year 11 but became Rank 1 at Nossal High School, and did not lose any marks (SACs) after joining Jason’s classes!

“Before I came to Jason I was honestly really lost for Eng Lang, I didn’t do well at all in unit 1/2 and needed a miracle to improve, and I’m really glad I came to Jason.

The classes were really well structured and flexible, getting me through all the content ahead of my school so that I could prepare in advance for my sacs.

Being in a group setting, I got to see the ideas of other students, as well as all of the feedback and resources that Jason provided, really gave me so much stuff that I knew I could constantly be working on and helped me to improve.

The quick replies for any questions I had, and everything I said previously have helped me to this point, where I haven’t dropped a mark in any of my SACs yet, something I didn’t think was possible coming into the year.”

From a student who struggled in Year 11 but became Rank 3 at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School after joining Jason’s classes!

“I loved the way that Jason taught, you can really see how much he loves this subject through the way you teach and that definitely made me start loving it too.

I went from dead average in year 11 to rank 3 in my class, and 99% of that is because of the effort and care that Jason put into his lessons and feedback, and beyond that he never hesitates to help outside of his sessions, could not recommend more”

From a student who was averaging E’s and D’s in Year 11 and improved his grades to A‘s & A+’s upon joining Jason’s classes! (Suzanne Cory High School)

“Hey Jason, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your help this year. You've really completely changed english language for me, i used to hate the subject in year 11, it was the subject i neglected because I couldn't get myself to study it because it felt as if no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't ever improve my grades. I was averaging 50s-60s back then, and I was near, if not, the bottom of the class. You've helped me go from E's and D's to A's and A+'s in such a short amount of time.

I really don't know what I would've done without you. You've always been kind to not only me, but to everyone else, and always encouraged my learning. For me personally, it wasn't just the tutoring (which was excellent btw), but your personality as a person which I think allowed me to get to where I am now. So, thank you so much Jason for the past year, I feel really confident for [the exam], and no matter the outcome I'll always be very grateful for everything you have done for me. Out of all of my tutors, I feel that you were the most beneficial for me.

You've always had perfectly planned classes, neatly organised materials and would reply to my messages quickly.

I really appreciate everything that you have done for me. ”

From a student who was getting 60% and improved her grades to 90%+ upon joining Jason’s classes! (Mater Christi College)

“Hi jason I’ve been so busy but I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for your help, I have really appreciated it.

My English language compared to the start of the year has drastically improved and I don’t think I could have done that without your lessons.

Thank you so much for the help, your students are very blessed to have a teacher like you.”

From a student who was getting 60% - 70% and improved her grades to 85% - 95% upon joining Jason’s classes! (Nossal High School)

“Your lessons have been really engaging and detailed, it’s super easy for me to identify my mistakes thanks to your feedback and you always go through content as well as practise pieces comprehensively and with precision, which has been really helpful!!

The materials you’ve provided have also been rly extensive and abundant, super useful for my sacs and exam revision. My expectations of the tuition was definitely met because you did all the things you said you would in the trial lesson, like providing rly detailed feedback on any practise pieces I gave you, answering any questions I had in a lot of depth and rly putting in effort to help us understand difficult concepts!!

In year 11 I definitely struggled with lang, getting around 60-70% but with your help I’ve been able to get 85-95% in my sacs which has been rly great! I would definitely recommend you to other students moving forward” 🤝

IF they went to those tutors who favour students who have a good foundation (which they clearly did NOT have), they would likely not achieve those AMAZING results, as they wouldn’t even have the opportunity to realise their full potential.

He treats everyone equally and genuinely cares about each student, regardless of their prior foundation in English.
